Cawsand and Rame Head

Sorry for the delay, we have just moved house!  Mathilda and I had a mad week doing various moving house-y preparation-y type jobs and tidying and sorting, for which Mathilda was obviously very helpful for productivity... For extra helpfulness the Navy very kindly sent Ed to Brussels on a course for the week so Mathilda and I moved the house by ourselves.

Anyway, despite it being a slightly more stressful process than usual, we are now installed in our new house, with all our stuff, phew!

So as I have achieved nothing particularly exciting over the last couple of weeks here are a few snaps from our holidays!  We even had some sunshine which is lovely to look back on now, since the weather has decided to skip summer and go straight to autumn.  Not impressed.

So a few weeks ago we went and spent a gorgeous day in Cawsand which was a) cute and b) sunny; success all round.  As ever, we left about two hours later than planned and arrived, distinctly peckish at something near lunchtime.  We ambled into Morans cafe and set to on a spectacular Welsh rarebit.

Mid munch; not a great photo!

Followed up with an enormous hunk of brownie and delicious coffee.

Thus fortified, we waddled round the town which is a gorgeous collection of bendy streets, coloured houses and beautiful beachy views.

As it's not a very big place we finished our exlorations with energy to spare and so hopped back in the car and beetled round the coast to Rame Head.  It was gorgeously sunny but slightly breezy, hence the mega coats!

It was just about warm enough to lie in the sunshine and soak in the view, which is all we did!
