I left a very rainy Plymouth on Thursday and boarded a coach bound for Bournemouth and a weekend with two of my favourite chums.
We had a lovely couple of days despite the rather grey and damp weather, which only meant that our hopes of sunshiney ambles along the sea front were replaced by a brief walk to get some fresh air, followed by hundreds of cups of tea accompanied by homemade banana bread and freshly baked hot cross buns.
We had several epic games of Scrabble accompanied with a very sensible quantity of wine...
which required a very serious breakfast to return us to tip top form.
I left on Sunday for a few days in London with my lovely in-laws and tomorrow I set off across the world for lovely foreign shores and my even lovelier husband!
OFFICIALLY THE MOST EXCITED PERSON EVER EVER EVER!!!
It was a lovely weekend, but you forgot to mention the super awesome vintage fair I never knew was on my doorstep! xxx
