Home Made Chai Latte

When the weather persists in being this grey and wet, sadly summer foods and iced drinks just don't cut it.  Here is a lovely comforting perker-upper to combat the damp.

You will need:
Chai tea bags
Honey
Hot milk (or use cold milk and then bung the whole thing in the microwave once it's all mixed)

Pour about 2cm of boiling water on your tea bag and leave to stew for about five minutes; you want it as strong as you can get it.  (Impatient mashing of the tea bag with a spoon allowed and encouraged.)

Add a small spoonful of honey (you can add more if you want it after you added the milk).

Add three quarters of your hot milk to the mug, then put the rest in a cafetiere and plunge vigorously  until it builds a good amount of froth.

(I found this teeny tiny cafetiere in a charity shop for about £1, it is just the thing for making frothy milky drinks, no fancy gadgets required!  Keep your eyes peeled in your local charity shops, they turn up fairly regularly.)

Pour on top off the chai-y milk.  Sprinkle with cinnamon if you have any/can be bothered and sit back and let the glorious spiced milkiness envelop you.

Pants, only just realised my mug is chipped.
